Job Title: Travel RN – House Supervisor (Emergency Department)
Location: Montour Falls, NY
Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)
Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts
Pay Rate: $2,563 weekly gross
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – House Supervisor to oversee hospital operations during night shifts, with a focus on emergency department coverage. The ideal candidate will be a confident clinical leader capable of managing diverse patient populations and supporting multiple hospital units as needed.
Provide supervision and clinical support for nursing staff across all units during assigned shifts.
Deliver high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages — from infants to the elderly.
Perform triage, assess patient conditions, and ensure timely interventions in emergency situations.
Identify and manage critical cases, including stroke and STEMI protocols.
Support the Med/Surg unit as needed in a leadership and clinical capacity.
Promote a collaborative, safe, and efficient working environment for all staff.
Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department experience required.
Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Experience as a charge nurse or house supervisor preferred.
Active RN License (New York State) – Required
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required
AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – Required
