Day: 3×12-Hour (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM)
Pay: $2,311 Weekly Gross
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing adult and pediatric emergencies, interpreting and managing cardiac rhythms, and administering critical care medications in a hospital-based ER.
Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department for both adult and pediatric populations.
Perform triage, assessment, and rapid stabilization of patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical and trauma conditions.
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and administer emergency medications and IV infusions as ordered.
Perform phlebotomy, start IVs, and manage central lines and vascular access devices.
Administer blood products and IV vasopressors safely and per protocol.
Care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure.
Administer procedural sedation and continuous IV paralytics/sedation when clinically indicated.
Implement isolation precautions and infection control standards.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Document care accurately and efficiently using the facility’s EMR system (Epic experience preferred).
Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Proficiency in:
General Emergency Department procedures (Adult & Pediatric)
Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias
Blood product administration
Central line care & management
Starting IVs and phlebotomy
Emergency medications, sedation, and vasopressor administration
Multisystem organ dysfunction/failure management
Stroke (CVA) management and isolation precautions
Epic EMR experience preferred.
Active RN License – New York State (unrestricted)
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
NIHSS (Stroke Certification)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
