Position Title: Inpatient Pharmacist
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11235
Job Type: Contract | Onsite
Schedule: 5 shifts per week | 7.5 hours per day | 37.5 hours per week (Flexible scheduling available)
Compensation:
Travel Assignment: $4,200 per week
Local Candidates: $3,400 per week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Inpatient Pharmacist for an exciting job in Brooklyn, NY.
Prepare, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with established protocols.
Perform sterile IV compounding and maintain compliance with USP standards.
Review and manage medication therapy using EMR/pharmacy informatics systems.
Consult with physicians, nurses, and care teams regarding appropriate medication usage.
Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Experience: Minimum 1 year as a licensed Pharmacist (inpatient/hospital experience preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficiency with pharmacy dispensing systems; sterile compounding experience required.
Systems: Familiarity with EMR systems is preferred.
Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
Active New York State Pharmacist License (must be current and verifiable).
