Job Title: Resident Service Specialist
Location: Alexandria, VA (On-site at multiple shelter locations)
Duration: 1-3 Months (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate: $16/hr

Job Overview:
Navitas Partners, LLC is seeking  Resident Service Specialist for an exciting job in Alexandria, VA.

Job Description:

• Support residents with daily needs and ensure compliance with shelter policies.
• Respond to emergencies and de-escalate conflicts when necessary.
• Connect residents to community resources and support services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports for each shift.
• Assist with the distribution of resources and supplies.
• Perform light physical duties, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 20 lbs.

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience working with adults experiencing homelessness, behavioral health challenges, or substance dependence
• Strong communication, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
• Basic computer skills (experience with Homeless Management Information System preferred)

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services or related field

Additional Details

• Travel between sites may be required
