Location: Syracuse, NY
Type: Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift Time: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22 – $26/hr (W2)

Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Sterile Supply Technician for an exciting job in Syracuse, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Assemble and inspect both complex and simple surgical sets to ensure completeness and functionality.
• Operate sterilization and decontamination equipment, including steam sterilizers, Steris, and Sterrad systems.
• Monitor and record sterilization cycles and decontamination processes in accordance with department and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, reliability, and safety standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following aseptic and infection control procedures.
• Respond promptly to urgent or emergent requests from clinical and surgical teams.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and inventory control of sterile supplies.

Qualifications

• Must have successfully completed a nationally accredited Central Service Technician exam and hold certification as a Central Service Technician, OR have a minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a Central Service Technician in a healthcare facility.
