Job Title: Travel Mammography Technologist

Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift: 8x5 Days
Pay Rate: $3,056 Weekly Gross
We are seeking an experienced Travel Mammography Technologist to join a dynamic radiology team in a major acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing high-quality mammographic and breast imaging studies, ensuring patient comfort, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Perform diagnostic mammography and breast imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and physician instructions.
Ensure image quality, patient safety, and accurate documentation throughout all procedures.
Provide compassionate care, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns to ensure a positive experience.
Maintain compliance with ACR, MQSA, and hospital standards for mammography services.
Operate and maintain mammography and digital imaging equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to support coordinated diagnostic workflows.
Follow all infection control, safety, and privacy regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
Assist with quality assurance activities, including daily equipment checks and record maintenance.
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in mammography and breast imaging within a major acute care hospital environment.
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Mammography.
BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association required.
