Position Title: MRI Technologist
Location: New York, NY
Type: Contract | Duration: 8 Weeks
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $50 – $70/hour
Position Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking MRI Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Falmouth, MA.
Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures accurately and efficiently following established protocols
Properly position patients and coils for optimal imaging results
Educate patients regarding procedures and safety requirements
Review and document MRI safety screenings
Label, evaluate, and upload images to PACS promptly
Manage scheduling and workflow using the Radiology Information System (RIS)
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of MRI suites and equipment
Assist radiologists and physicians during procedures as required
Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately
Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines
Support clerical functions when needed
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
Licenses/Certifications:
Active New York State License in Diagnostic Radiology
ARRT (MRI) Certification
BCLS Certification
Experience:
In-depth knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, MRI physics, and imaging protocols
Preferred: Minimum 2 years of MRI experience; experience with GE MRI systems a plus
