Shift: Monday | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
Total Weekly Gross Pay: $2,566
Hourly Rate: $71.28

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient-centered care to mothers and newborns, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to evidence-based nursing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, assess, and monitor patients throughout the labor, delivery, and recovery process.

  • Assist physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care.

  • Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care based on patient assessments and medical diagnoses.

  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions to support optimal maternal and fetal outcomes.

  • Identify patient needs and prioritize care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

  • Document all nursing activities and patient interactions according to established standards and policies.

  • Advocate for evidence-based care standards and contribute to continuous improvements in clinical practice.

  • Provide compassionate, patient-focused care aligned with the professional nursing practice model.

  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of New Jersey (or compact state license).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D) required.

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (NRP certification preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of obstetric and neonatal care protocols.

  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to perform in high-pressure and fast-paced environments.

Work Environment:

  • Hospital-based Labor & Delivery Unit.

  • 12-hour night shifts with a patient-focused, collaborative nursing team.
