MRI Technologist
Location: Elmhurst, NY (11373)

Shift: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate (Local): $60/hour ($960 weekly)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking MRI Technologist for an exciting job in Elmhurst, NY.
Required:
Minimum 1 year of MRI experience.
Valid Radiologic Technologist license issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
Advanced-Level Certification from ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT.
Preferred:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
Position patients and coils appropriately to ensure optimal image quality.
Provide clear patient education regarding procedures, expectations, and safety requirements.
Review and confirm MRI safety questionnaires prior to scanning.
Label, evaluate, and transmit images accurately to PACS within required timelines.
Maintain and update patient records in the Radiology Information System (IDX).
Ensure MRI room cleanliness and proper handling of supplies and linens.
Assist physicians during imaging procedures as needed.
Monitor equipment condition and promptly report any issues or unsafe conditions.
Uphold MRI safety standards and prevent ferromagnetic materials from entering scan areas.
Adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
Maintain active and compliant professional licensure.
