Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567
Duration: 3 Months (Approx. 13 Weeks)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes a 30-minute break)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The CT Technologist will perform computed tomography imaging procedures and related radiographic duties, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical proficiency, professionalism, and a commitment to compassionate patient care.
Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
Administer contrast media injections as required, ensuring patient safety and proper documentation.
Verify patient identification and review medical history to ensure appropriate imaging techniques.
Monitor and assist patients during procedures, providing clear communication and reassurance.
Maintain accurate records and images in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality results and efficient workflow.
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and departmental radiation safety regulations.
Active New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Radiologic Technologist License with Certification to Inject required.
ARRT (CT Registry) certification required.
Experience in radiography with demonstrated competency in CT and special imaging techniques required.
Working knowledge of radiographic, fluoroscopic, special, and CT imaging procedures required.
Experience with Philips CT equipment and EPIC EMR preferred (EPIC training provided onsite).
1–2 years of experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
CT scanning and general radiography proficiency
IV contrast administration and injection certification
Image processing and quality assurance
Radiation safety and infection control compliance
Excellent communication and patient care skills
EMR documentation (EPIC experience a plus)
