Shift: Monday – Friday | 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Dialysis provides professional nursing care to patients receiving dialysis treatments. The RN collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to assess, plan, and deliver patient care, ensuring safety, accuracy, and high-quality outcomes. This role includes patient education, treatment administration, and documentation of care.
Conduct nursing assessments and document patient conditions.
Assist with examinations and treatment plans as directed by physicians.
Administer IV infusions, port access, and dialysis treatments.
Monitor patients during dialysis procedures for safety and response to treatment.
Educate patients on dialysis procedures, medications, and self-care.
Report and manage incidents or adverse events appropriately.
Maintain accurate medical records in EMR systems.
Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
Strong IV skills, including port access.
Knowledge and experience with infusion pumps, infusion therapies, and IV infusions.
Attention to detail and ability to manage and report incidents accurately.
Ability to calculate and mix medications safely.
Experience with Epic EMR systems.
Knowledge of medication infusion techniques and preparation.
Ability to mix and administer medications as needed.
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (TX).
Current BLS certification required.
