(Must be willing to work both days and nights)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Utica, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level II/III NICU

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

  • Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and clinical progress using Epic EMR

  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Perform emergency interventions and neonatal resuscitation when necessary

  • Support patient families through education and emotional guidance

  • Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, infection control, and safety regulations

  • Float as needed to Mother-Baby, Pediatrics, or Adult Units (within scope or as support staff)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of recent NICU experience (Level II or III required)

  • Active New York RN license

  • Experience with Epic EMR

  • Flexibility to work both day and night 12-hour shifts

Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

  • STABLE
