Title: Project Lead / Project Manager
Duration: 3 Months (Part-time, 20 hours per week) – Potential for full-time conversion after 3 months
Location: Charleston, SC (29424) – Onsite only
Project Overview:
"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking Project Lead / Project Manager for an exciting job in Charleston, SC.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and oversee standardized project management processes and methodologies tailored to organizational needs.
Ensure all projects are executed in alignment with established frameworks—delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards—while consistently meeting stakeholder expectations.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, collaborating with technical staff and business stakeholders to create deliverables for audiences of varying technical expertise.
Monitor project performance and report progress through dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries.
Identify and mitigate risks, resolve blockers, and ensure quality standards are met across all deliverables.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement and cross-departmental communications.
Mentor and coach team members on Agile practices and project execution, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Perform other duties as assigned, which may include special project assignments within the PMO or IT division, task force participation, or other organizational initiatives.
Technical Knowledge:
ServiceNow
Project management software (e.g., MS Project)
Required Skills:
3+ years working closely with Business Analysts (BAs)
3+ years experience with Kanban methodology
Required Education/Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or 9+ years of relevant experience without a Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Skills:
Product Owner experience
Experience working with ServiceNow
Experience collaborating with Data Analysts or Data Scientists
Previous IT experience (e.g., analyst, programmer, etc.)
Preferred Education/Certifications:
Additional Project Management Institute (PMI) certifications
Agile or Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP)
