Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (Registered) – Contract
Location: New York, NY
Contract Duration: 8 weeks
Shift: Day Shift | Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 35–40 hours per week
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Registered Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team on a contract basis. The technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging, and providing compassionate patient care in a clinical environment.
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols.
Operate ultrasound equipment to capture quality images for physician interpretation.
Review patient history and ensure proper preparation before examinations.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures.
Ensure equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and calibrated.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Registered Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS or equivalent certification required).
Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an ultrasound technologist.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound techniques.
Excellent patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Contract: 8 weeks (possibility of extension)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 35–40
