Schedule: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, Morning)
Pay Rate:
            Local Rate: $1,575/Week
            Travel Rate: $1,687.5/Week

Job Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Ophthalmic Technician for an exciting job in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preliminary eye exams and diagnostic tests (visual fields, tonometry, OCT, refraction, pupil assessment).
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures; manage patient flow.
• Assist with outpatient studies, imaging, lab coordination, and minor office surgeries.
• Calibrate, clean, and maintain ophthalmic instruments.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Technical proficiency in ophthalmic diagnostic testing and procedures.
• Patient-centered approach.

Education & Certification:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ophthalmic Technician Certification required.
