Job Title: Project Lead / Project Manager
Location: Charleston, SC 29424 (Onsite)
Duration: 3 Months (Part-time – 20 hours per week)

Project Scope

The client is seeking an experienced Project Lead/Manager to collaborate with the PMO and ensure the successful completion of information technology projects. This role involves overseeing project management processes, fostering cross-functional communication, and delivering projects that meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee standardized project management processes tailored to the organization’s needs.

  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high-quality standards.

  • Collaborate with technical staff and business stakeholders to create documentation and artifacts suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Monitor project performance and communicate progress through dashboards and executive summaries.

  • Identify risks, resolve blockers, and maintain adherence to quality standards.

  • Support stakeholder engagement and facilitate cross-departmental communication.

  • Mentor and coach team members on Agile practices, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

  • Perform other duties as assigned, including special project assignments within the PMO or IT division.

Technical Knowledge (Desirable)

  • ServiceNow familiarity.

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project).

Required Skills (Ranked by Importance)

  1. 3+ years of experience working with Business Analysts.

  2. 3+ years of experience working with Kanban frameworks.

Required Education & Certifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (mandatory).

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of related work experience OR 9+ years of related experience without a degree.

Preferred Skills (Ranked by Importance)

  • Product Owner experience.

  • Experience working with ServiceNow.

  • Experience collaborating with Data Analysts or Data Scientists.

  • Previous IT background (e.g., analyst, programmer, or similar role).

Preferred Education & Certifications

  • Additional PMI certifications.

  • Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP).
