Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Syracuse, NY. The therapist will assess patient conditions, design individualized treatment plans, and administer therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and overall function. The role also involves educating patients on injury prevention and self-care, tracking progress, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient evaluations and develop tailored treatment programs.

  • Provide interventions including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and equipment use.

  • Educate patients and families on recovery techniques, injury prevention, and home programs.

  • Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments as needed.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote continuity of care.

  • Support patients in regaining independence and improving quality of life.

Requirements:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in New York State (or eligibility).

  • Strong clinical and communication skills.

  • Previous experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting preferred.
