About the Role

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for an exciting job in St. Joseph, MO.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care for patients ages 2 and older
• Conduct wellness exams, preventive screenings, and immunizations
• Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
• Diagnose and treat acute and urgent health concerns
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient encounters in the EMR in a timely manner

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable seeing patients ages 2+
• Recent family medicine experience (within the past 2 years acceptable)
• Independent clinical practice experience in family medicine preferred
• Active, unrestricted state medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine

Preferred

• Outpatient family practice experience
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population
