Job Title: Systems Analyst (Cognos)
Location: Remote
Duration: 2 Months (Tentative)
Weekly Hours: ~20 hours

Job Summary:

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking Systems Analyst (Cognos) for an exciting Remote job.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure Cognos Analytics on new servers (upgrade from version 11.1 to 12.0 or later).

  • Perform post-installation configuration of Cognos Analytics servers.

  • Migrate content including framework models, reporting packages, reports, and users across environments.

  • Configure and implement SSL and SAML.

  • Complete all setups required for Cognos Framework Manager installation.

  • Identify, document, and execute tasks necessary for migration and setup.

  • Provide clear process documentation for installation and configuration.

  • Deliver post-upgrade support through the first patching cycle to ensure stability.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong expertise in Cognos Analytics administration and management.

  • Proven experience with installation, configuration, and environment migrations.

  • Skilled in migrating framework models, reporting packages, reports, and user data.

  • Experience converting from Active Directory to SAML for Cognos.

  • Proficiency with SSL setup and implementation.

  • Experience working with Cognos Analytics on Windows Server environments.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated history of successful Cognos Analytics installations, upgrades, and migrations.

  • Ability to create thorough technical documentation.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in Cognos environments.
