Job Overview:
Navitas Partners, LLC is seeking  BEST Program Business & Data Analyst  for an exciting job in Boston, MA.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SMEs and system integrators to gather and document reporting and analytics requirements.
• Analyze existing SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports; create an inventory of current reporting.
• Map and validate data from Oracle to Snowflake, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in developing and configuring reports and dashboards in the new solution.
• Support testing, including user acceptance testing, and participate in training efforts.
• Identify and resolve data-related issues, inconsistencies, and discrepancies.
• Document report redevelopment requirements and validate output of new queries.
• Support financial reporting across multiple areas including Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Grants, Budgeting, and Vendor Management.
• Support operational reporting such as maintenance, incident, capacity, performance, and disaster recovery management.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle and Snowflake).
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and Power Apps.
• Experience with financial data and reporting, preferably in public sector or state systems.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Access, Toad, or BI platforms a plus.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or similar development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SaaS cloud implementations, financial transformation, or modernization projects.
• Understanding of data architecture, data quality, and data governance practices.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis and/or data analytics, preferably in finance or reporting.
