Position Title: Travel Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technician

Pay Range: $65–$68/hour ($2,600–$2,750/week)
Position Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technician for an exciting job in Hackensack, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Prepare sterile trays and organize equipment for procedures.
Prepare patients: EKG lead placement, Betadine scrub, draping.
Assist nurses with patient monitoring and hemodynamic transducers.
Support physicians during procedures, including:
Cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, atherectomy, TEC, Rotablator
Valvuloplasty, intravascular ultrasound, pulmonary angiograms
Insertion of intra-aortic balloon pumps and stents
Operate power injectors and digital cine imaging systems.
Store and retrieve patient images and records.
Assist with emergency interventions and patient stability.
Aid in sheath removal and vascular closure device placement.
Maintain inventory and notify staff of supply needs.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers.
Lift at least 40 lbs., push/pull 100 lbs., stand for 4+ hours per day.
Follow hospital protocols and competencies.
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years’ experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or invasive procedure area in an acute care hospital
Completion of a 6–12 month CVT-accredited program or 2 years in another cardiac vascular lab
Familiar with computers, hemodynamic monitoring, sterile techniques
CCL scrub experience
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree
