Travel Rate: $2,648.50/Week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Travel Mammography Technologist for an exciting job in Falmouth, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate mammographic and stereotactic equipment, maintaining MQSA compliance through quality assurance checks and documentation.
• Prepare exam rooms and patient supplies for mammographic and bone density procedures.
• Review requisitions, radiologist reports, and patient history to determine appropriate exams and clarify orders as needed.
• Educate and support patients throughout the mammography process, explaining screening vs. diagnostic exams.
• Perform diagnostic mammograms and bone density scans, ensuring image quality and patient safety.
• Maintain radiology records, quality control documentation, and ensure proper patient identification.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate timely repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and radiation safety regulations.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain professional certifications and stay current with industry standards.
• Provide excellent service to patients, families, medical personnel, and coworkers.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a JCERT Accredited Radiography Program.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
• ARRT Bone Density Operator certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Proficiency in 3D mammography.
• Active Massachusetts State license for Radiology and Mammography.
• Knowledge of MQSA standards and regulations.
• Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach.
