Job Title: Phlebotomist
Location: Greenville, SC 29605
Duration: 3+ Month Contract (Extendable)
Shift: Day | 5x8 | 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay Rate: $27.20 (Travel) | $22 (Local)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for performing blood draws, specimen collection, and processing while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Perform venipuncture using syringe and vacutainer methods.
Collect and label specimens accurately in accordance with established protocols.
Provide appropriate post-venipuncture site care.
Process specimens for laboratory testing (centrifuge, aliquot, storage).
Utilize EPIC for patient data entry and documentation.
Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
Deliver compassionate and professional patient care.
Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required.
Must hold an active BLS (AHA) certification.
Proficiency in hospital-based phlebotomy and specimen collection.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Active Phlebotomy License (as required by state).
BLS – AHA (mandatory).
