Position: Clinical Laboratory Technologist – Microbiology

Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Pay Rate: $54 – $57 per hour
Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Clinical Laboratory Technologist – Microbiology for an exciting Local job in Brooklyn, NY.
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of microbiological diagnostic tests and procedures with precision and efficiency.
Accurately analyze, interpret, and verify test results prior to reporting.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
Adhere to laboratory safety protocols, infection control practices, and quality assurance standards.
Document and maintain accurate laboratory records and patient data within the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to support patient care decisions.
Participate in proficiency testing, continuing education, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Current New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, preferably in Microbiology.
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
