Job Summary:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Clinical Laboratory Technologist – Microbiology for an exciting Local job in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of microbiological diagnostic tests and procedures with precision and efficiency.

  • Accurately analyze, interpret, and verify test results prior to reporting.

  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.

  • Adhere to laboratory safety protocols, infection control practices, and quality assurance standards.

  • Document and maintain accurate laboratory records and patient data within the Laboratory Information System (LIS).

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to support patient care decisions.

  • Participate in proficiency testing, continuing education, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Current New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, preferably in Microbiology.

  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
