Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: New York, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $67/hour
Total Weekly Gross: $2,479
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and provide technical assistance to physicians in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Prepare and examine patients for ultrasound procedures following established departmental protocols.
Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment to ensure high-quality imaging results.
Take safety precautions to protect patients and staff from hazards.
Set up, operate, clean, and make minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment.
Ensure adequate stock of necessary supplies.
Assist in training and mentoring new ultrasound personnel.
Capture and upload diagnostic images into PACS for physician review.
Answer telephones, schedule exams, and assist with patient transport as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology
OR High School Diploma/GED with successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography training program.
Minimum of 1–2 years of ultrasound experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures and imaging protocols.
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
Active State License
BLS – AHA certification required
