Pay Range: $50–$55/hour ($2,200 – $2,400/week)

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Emergency Department for an exciting Travel or Local job in Utica, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid assessments across all age groups.
• Provide emergency interventions for life-threatening conditions.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products.
• Utilize specialty equipment (e.g., Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun).
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition.
• Document care in Epic EMR; maintain compliance with protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
• Educate patients and families in high-stress situations.
• Support infection control and safety standards.
• Float to other units as needed.
• Serve as Charge Nurse when assigned.

Qualifications:

• Active NY RN License (verified via NURSYS).
• Minimum 2 years recent ED experience, including pediatrics.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.
• Required certifications (AHA): ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Experience with Epic EMR required.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Prior Charge RN experience highly preferred.
• Two recent ED Charge/Manager references required.
