Type: Contract
Schedule: Mon, Wed & Fri: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Tue & Thu: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21 – $24 per hour

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Medical Assistant for an exciting Local job in Lexington, NE.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, obtain vitals, and assist with exams
• Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture, administer vaccines, conduct POC testing, and perform EKGs
• Manage patient scheduling, answer phones, and update EMR records accurately
• Support clinical staff with daily operations and provide excellent patient care
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain an efficient and professional work environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant (in addition to externship)
• Certification as a Medical Assistant strongly preferred
• Experience in Occupational Health preferred
• Proficiency with EMR systems, phlebotomy, and venipuncture required
• BLS or CPR certification required
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and computer proficiency
• Commitment to health education, outreach, and patient-centered care
