Position Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Utica, NY
Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel
Shift: Night (5x8-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $1,400 – $1,480 weekly
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Utica, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of long-term care experience and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care in a skilled nursing environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care
Administer medications and treatments as directed
Accurately document care and progress in the EMR system
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the healthcare team
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents
Float between units as needed (MS, Ortho, Dementia, Memory Care)
Qualifications:
Active New York LPN license
Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
Minimum 1 year of long-term care or skilled nursing experience
Flexibility to float between units
Strong communication and organizational skills
