Job Title: Office Services Assistant – Onsite
Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Rate: $19.00/hour (W2)

Position Overview

The Office Services Assistant is responsible for supporting stock room operations, clerical and administrative tasks, and mailroom services. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, the ability to manage multiple projects, and physical capability to handle office supplies and deliveries. The role is fully onsite and requires standing/walking for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Process all incoming and outgoing deliveries at the corporate office and mock store.

  • Handle all US Mail, FedEx, UPS, and internal mail; operate automated mailing/shipping equipment.

  • Receive, organize, and transport deliveries using rolling carts, dollies, flatbeds, or pallet jacks.

  • Stock, organize, and maintain office, pantry, and coffee/tea supplies for the facility.

  • Monitor and maintain the general appearance of the office, reporting repair needs to the Facilities Manager.

  • Assist with conference room scheduling, setup, cleanup, and meeting support.

  • Provide assistance with special projects and events as directed by the Facilities Manager.

  • Monitor the Corporate Facilities email inbox, responding to requests professionally and promptly.

  • Identify and resolve associate issues, ensuring timely feedback and follow-up.

  • Build effective working relationships across corporate teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in office services, hospitality, facilities, workplace programs, or related site management roles in a corporate environment.

  • Ability to work onsite 100% of the time.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Comfort with new technologies, including apps, databases, work order management, financial systems, and mobile tools.

  • Physical ability to support warehouse operations, including regular walking, standing 6–8 hours daily, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Highly adaptable and flexible, able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively with employees, management, and third-party vendors.
