Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health/Psych

Pay Range: $68 – $70 per hour
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a background in behavioral health/psychiatric nursing to join our team. This role involves providing compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting individuals experiencing acute or chronic mental health conditions.
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a psychiatric/behavioral health setting.
Assess patient needs, create and implement individualized care plans, and monitor progress.
Administer medications and monitor patient response, including side effects.
Respond promptly to psychiatric and medical emergencies.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and interdisciplinary teams to support treatment goals.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Promote a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric/behavioral health RN experience.
Strong knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles, crisis intervention, and safety protocols.
Skilled in de-escalation techniques, problem-solving, and patient advocacy.
Ability to work effectively with patients experiencing acute mental health conditions.
Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification required).
AHA BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).
CPI Certification (Crisis Prevention Intervention).
