Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Psychiatric Pool
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Contract Duration: 3 Months (with potential extension)
Shift: Evenings, 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Pay Rate: $46/hr
Evaluate and address youth health concerns, providing guidance on treatments and procedures.
Collect and process laboratory specimens, including blood and urine.
Monitor, record, and report changes in patient health conditions and vital signs.
Administer medications, observe for adverse reactions, and document outcomes.
Conduct intake health screenings for newly admitted youth.
Deliver direct patient care and respond to medical emergencies for youth and staff.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate individualized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, files, and reports.
Ensure adequate medical supplies and equipment are stocked and maintained.
Administer vaccinations and assist with annual tuberculosis (TB) screenings.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Active Arizona RN License
BLS Certification (required)
Current Fingerprint Clearance Card
Strong knowledge of professional nursing practices, methods, and techniques.
Ability to observe, assess, and document patient behavior and progress effectively.
