Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care / Endoscopy
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Type: Contract
Pay: $54/hr
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts with varying start times
On-call required for evenings, nights, and weekends
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Critical Care and Endoscopy. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment skills, the ability to perform a wide range of patient care tasks with minimal supervision, and the flexibility to adapt to a dynamic acute care environment.
Requirements:
Active New York State RN license
Current BLS certification (or ability to recertify)
Minimum of 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years) in a facility of similar size and complexity
Experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers (required for travelers)
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care in a critical care/endoscopy setting
Perform accurate patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions
Collaborate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff
Provide safe, compassionate, and professional patient care with minimal orientation
