Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hours/week, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
On-Call: Rotation required (nights, weekends, and holidays)
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-performing cardiovascular care team. This role involves delivering advanced nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures.
Perform patient assessments, verify consents, and administer pre-procedure medications.
Monitor and document EKG and hemodynamic status throughout procedures, responding promptly to changes or emergencies.
Assist physicians with interventions while maintaining a sterile field and operating specialized cath lab equipment.
Deliver thorough post-procedure care, including patient education and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team and act as a resource for support staff.
Participate in staff training, orientation, and quality improvement initiatives.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
Active RN license in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain)
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in telemetry, critical care, or cardiac cath lab
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Proficiency in arrhythmia interpretation and emergency response
Ability to safely use protective equipment (lead apron)
Strong communication skills and commitment to excellence in patient care
