Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic (Community)
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Shift: 10:30 pm – 7:00 am, rotating weekends and holidays. Possible on-call required.
Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
Active state license/registration (NYS required if local)
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a radiologic technologist
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists
Greet and explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and understanding
Properly position patients and set exposure factors to achieve high-quality images
Follow strict radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure risks
Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively; promptly report malfunctions
Process images and input information into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing
Adhere to departmental procedures and protocols outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual
Provide diagnostic imaging services as requested by referring physicians and radiologists
Experience in field: Required – 1 year
A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology: Required
License/Registration: Required
