Job Title: RN – Clinic/Ambulatory

Duration: 13 weeks contract

Work Location: New York, NY

Shift timing: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

 

Requirement: Clinic experience

 

Job Description:

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, obtain patient history, and document findings in the EMR.
  • Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and treatments as prescribed.
  • Assist providers with minor procedures, examinations, and diagnostic testing.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress; report abnormal findings to providers.
  • Provide patient and family education on disease management, medications, and follow-up care.
  • Coordinate referrals, diagnostic tests, and follow-up appointments.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure exam rooms and clinical areas are stocked, sanitized, and prepared for patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support patient safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of professional nursing principles, practices, and standards of care.
  • Strong assessment, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach with cultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems (EPIC experience preferred).

 

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • 1+ years of nursing experience (ambulatory or clinic setting preferred).
  • Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required depending on specialty.
