Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care
Location: Montour Falls, NY 14865
Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Overnight)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $50 – $52/hour
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long-Term Care facility in Montour Falls, NY. In this overnight role, you will provide high-quality resident care, supervise nursing staff, and ensure compliance with all healthcare standards. This position is ideal for an RN who is detail-oriented, team-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional resident-centered care.
Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
Monitor and document resident conditions; promptly communicate changes to physicians and families.
Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.
Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and state/federal regulations.
Respond to medical emergencies and administer appropriate interventions, including CPR.
Educate and support residents and families, including compassionate end-of-life care.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and staff to promote optimal resident outcomes.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
1–2 years of nursing experience (long-term care experience strongly preferred).
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of long-term care regulations (CMS, HIPAA, infection control standards).
Compassionate, patient-centered approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
