Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Overnight)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Long-Term Care facility in Montour Falls, NY. In this overnight role, you will provide high-quality resident care, supervise nursing staff, and ensure compliance with all healthcare standards. This position is ideal for an RN who is detail-oriented, team-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.

  • Monitor and document resident conditions; promptly communicate changes to physicians and families.

  • Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.

  • Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR).

  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and state/federal regulations.

  • Respond to medical emergencies and administer appropriate interventions, including CPR.

  • Educate and support residents and families, including compassionate end-of-life care.

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and staff to promote optimal resident outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.

  • 1–2 years of nursing experience (long-term care experience strongly preferred).

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations (CMS, HIPAA, infection control standards).

  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
