• HSD

Certification:

• CNA
• BLS/CPR
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Hepatitis B vaccination or declination of offered vaccine

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic healthcare support to students and staff under the supervision of the school nurse.
• Assist in monitoring students with chronic conditions (asthma, diabetes, allergies, seizures, etc.).
• Administer first aid and support in emergencies.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns.
• Support individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency action plans (EAPs).
• Assist with health screenings and routine checks.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, immunization requirements, and school health policies.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to promote student well-being
