Job Title: Project Manager  (IN Healthcare Field)
Location: New York, NY
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 4+ Month Contract (with potential extension)
Pay Rate: $50 – $60 per hour

Role Overview

The Project Manager will support initiatives under the Office of Ambulatory Care and Population Health, focusing on programs like the Humanitarian Emergency Response and Relief Center (HERRC). These facilities provide direct services, temporary shelter, and resource navigation for individuals and families.

You will manage workstreams across multiple complex projects, ensuring timely execution, strong stakeholder communication, and effective oversight of program implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of assigned project lifecycles, including planning, design, execution, and delivery.

  • Develop and maintain tracking tools, templates, and project dashboards to monitor progress.

  • Escalate risks/issues proactively and ensure deliverables are met on time.

  • Act as a liaison with City agencies, vendors, and service providers.

  • Support training sessions and materials development; provide on-site implementation support.

  • Offer policy and operational guidance to improve service delivery.

  • Assist with budget tracking and invoice review.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project/program management experience (healthcare or community services preferred).

  • Experience with DOE, ACS, or other educational/social service programs strongly preferred.

  • Background in healthcare, education, community engagement, or non-profit work.

  • Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and case management staff.

  • Strong written/verbal communication & presentation skills; able to adapt material for diverse audiences.

  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

  • Fluency in another language (Spanish preferred).

  • Prior experience with vendor/contractor management is a plus.

  • NYC area residency preferred.

Bachelor’s degree required (clinical or related field strongly preferred).
Healthcare/clinical background (education or work experience) is mandatory.
