Job Title: Surgical Coordinator

Schedule: Full-time | 37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday
Pay Rate: $21/hour
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Coordinator to join a healthcare team in New York, NY. The Surgical Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth scheduling of surgical procedures, coordinating with providers, patients, and hospital staff to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
Schedule and coordinate surgical procedures across multiple providers.
Verify and obtain surgical authorizations as required.
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff to ensure clarity and accuracy in scheduling.
Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with policies.
Provide excellent customer service and patient support throughout the surgical scheduling process.
Manage multiple schedules while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Minimum 2 years of surgical scheduling experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple provider schedules.
Excellent customer service and patient relations skills.
Preferred: Familiarity with Epic and Cerner EMR systems.
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
