Job Summary: We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service and administrative support in a healthcare office environment. This role is responsible for welcoming patients, managing appointments, and maintaining accurate patient account information while ensuring a professional and friendly atmosphere.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and acknowledge patients with a smile upon arrival and dismissal.

  • Respond to patient questions and concerns in a professional manner.

  • Answer telephones promptly and courteously.

  • Schedule, confirm, and maintain patient appointments in the appointment book.

  • Follow up with patients regarding no-shows or cancellations.

  • Register patients upon arrival and ensure accurate documentation.

  • Post charges and payments to patient accounts.

  • Check voicemail daily and respond as appropriate.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming waiting area.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience answering telephones in a professional setting.

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office setting.

  • Familiarity with insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
