Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced GIS Analyst to support our Engineering Department in the development of a major GIS – ArcGIS application. The role involves cataloging and georeferencing assets across facilities including airports, seaports, and corporate campuses for integration into a new ArcGIS platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile, manipulate, and analyze geospatial asset data from multiple sources (drawings, spreadsheets, documents, databases) for GIS integration.

  • Review, organize, and sanitize data to ensure alignment with company standards.

  • Geo-reference data for use in ArcGIS applications and portals.

  • Document workflows and processes from authoritative sources.

  • Collaborate with technical and development teams to build GIS/ESRI-based applications.

  • Design, develop, and maintain GIS databases and systems.

  • Create maps, reports, applications, and visualizations to convey spatial analysis results.

  • Utilize scripting languages to refine GIS data and processes, as needed.

  • Work with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online for data visualization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, GIS, or a related technical field.

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in GIS/ArcGIS application development and support.

  • Proficiency in ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Pro.

  • Experience with spatial data development, CAD interoperability, and ESRI database design and modeling.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GPS, surveying, and/or mobile data collection experience.

  • Working knowledge of SQL databases, ArcSDE, MS SharePoint, and MS PowerPoint.

  • Basic understanding of service-oriented architectures (SOA).
