Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist – Diagnostic

The Interventional Radiology Technologist assists interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat conditions within the body. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment, administering contrast agents, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
Support physicians during interventional radiology procedures such as angioplasty and stenting.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot angiographic and diagnostic imaging equipment.
Administer contrast dyes and monitor patient response.
Ensure adherence to radiation safety practices and infection control standards.
Provide compassionate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
Accurately document patient information and procedural data.
Minimum 1 year of experience working with angiographic equipment, balloon angioplasty, and stenting.
Required:
Associate’s degree from a Radiologic Technology program.
Valid NYSDOH license (Diagnostic Radiography) – may be obtained after offer.
Current BLS certification (AHA).
One advanced-level ARRT certification:
ARRT (CI) – Cardiac Interventional Radiology
ARRT (CV) – Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology
ARRT (VI) – Vascular Interventional Radiology
