Job Title: Patient Service Representative

Position Overview: We are seeking a Patient Service Representative with a passion for providing excellent customer service and an interest in the dental field. This role serves as a support person for both staff and patients, handling phone calls, scheduling, patient inquiries, and financial arrangements. Flexibility, professionalism, and a friendly attitude are key to success.
Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting patients upon arrival and dismissal
Answer patient questions and concerns in line with office policies
Answer telephones and schedule appointments
Maintain and confirm appointment book/schedule
Follow up on no-shows and cancellations
Register patients on sign-in sheet
Post charges and payments to patient accounts
Check and respond to voicemail daily
Maintain a clean, welcoming waiting area
Qualifications:
Experience answering telephones
Strong customer service skills
Experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office preferred
Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
