Title: Information Systems Architect – Advanced
Location: 100% Remote (travel as needed)

Overview:
Seeking an experienced Information Systems Architect to design, implement, and maintain Health-IT systems, including Nextgen EHR, PM, EDR, NGShare, NG Mobile, MIRTH, eZmar, and Symmetry. The role ensures technology aligns with strategic goals, improves patient care, and supports compliance with healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead planning, design, and evolution of Health IT architecture.
Develop and maintain technology roadmaps and security architecture.
Collaborate with leadership to align IT initiatives with organizational goals.
Evaluate and recommend technology solutions, vendors, and interfaces.
Support EHR implementation, testing, training, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, HIEs, ICD-9/ICD-10, and HIPAA.
Provide leadership in architecture planning, governance, and emerging technology adoption.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
10+ years’ experience with Electronic Health Records.
5+ years’ experience with Nextgen EHR, PM, and EDR; Nextgen Certification required.
Experience with healthcare data interfaces, HIEs, and EMAR systems.
Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10, HL7, SQL, and Crystal Reports preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
