Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Pediatrics (Day Shift)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift (includes every other weekend and some holidays)
Pay Rate:
Local: $2,220/weekly
Travel: $2,794/weekly
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join the inpatient pediatric surgical unit for day shifts. The ideal candidate will have strong acute care experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center, with the ability to deliver high-quality nursing care independently in a fast-paced pediatric environment.
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric surgical patients in an inpatient setting.
Perform assessments, treatments, and interventions with minimal orientation.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Accurately document patient care, preferably using EPIC Electronic Medical Records.
Adhere to hospital policies, professional nursing standards, and safety protocols.
Active New York State RN license (required).
BLS certification (must be maintained throughout assignment).
Minimum 1.5 years of recent inpatient nursing experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and scope.
Preferably 2+ years of experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center.
Prior experience with EPIC EMR (highly desired).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
