Job Title: Asset Manager
Duration: 11 Months
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Work Model: Hybrid (2 days a week onsite, preferably Tuesday and Wednesday — subject to change)
About the Role: A large enterprise organization is seeking an Asset Manager with at least 5 years of relevant experience to oversee IT asset lifecycle processes and ensure compliance with organizational standards. This role will support the management of software, hardware, and equipment from acquisition through retirement, as well as maintain data accuracy in IT asset management systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
Serve as the backup Asset Manager when needed.
Develop and implement processes and procedures for tracking and analyzing IT assets throughout their lifecycle.
Provide daily operational and maintenance support, including troubleshooting issues in the Asset Management module in Remedy and ServiceNow.
Conduct annual inventory audits and establish standardized processes for consistency.
Perform bulk asset data uploads and identify discrepancies for auditing.
Develop and maintain asset-related foundation data.
Create and distribute asset reports for users and management.
Set up user accounts, site information, hardware/product categorizations, and support groups.
Participate in user acceptance testing.
Manage fixed and floating licensing for the Asset Management module.
Develop end-user documentation and conduct training sessions.
Must-Have Qualifications
5+ years’ experience as an Asset Manager – Required
2–4 years’ experience with BMC Remedy (version 20.02) or equivalent ITSM tool – Required
ITIL Foundation Certification – Required
Strong knowledge of CMDB and Asset Management methodology, tools, terminology, and best practices – Required
Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, written), including meeting management and facilitation – Required
Proven organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results – Required
Strong customer service skills, working with diverse IT stakeholders – Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams – Required
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience with ServiceNow in addition to BMC Remedy.
Prior experience managing large-scale IT asset lifecycle operations in a government or enterprise setting.

Start date is ASAP, pending compliance requirements.
Hybrid schedule with onsite presence twice a week (subject to change).
First-day onboarding, badging, and equipment pickup must be completed onsite (may take multiple days).
