Location: Sioux Falls, SD 57105

Duration: 16- 20 week of contract (extendable)

Shift Timings: 4*10- days (9a-6p OR 5/8s 8a-5p.)

Pay: $72- 75/Hourly

Responsibilities:

• Treatment of gross motor delays (improving range of motion, posture, strength, coordination, and endurance)
• Seating and mobility assessments for manual and powered wheelchairs (in collaboration with occupational therapists and equipment specialists)
• Utilizing stretch exercises, positioning, and strengthening to address neck muscle tightness and asymmetry
• Prescribing and training in the use of assistive devices, such as standers and gait trainers, to promote mobility and independence
• Managing neuromuscular disorders, using equipment
• Implementing serial casting to improve ankle flexibility and prevent contractures, especially in toe-walking cases
• Leading adaptive aquatics therapy post-surgery or injury to facilitate safe functional recovery with specialized equipment
