Job Title: Clinical Dietitian – Inpatient / Critical Care
Location: Syracuse, NY 13215
Duration: 3-month contract (extendable)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $70/hour
Overview:
We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian with specialized experience in inpatient and critical care settings. The role involves assessing and managing nutrition care for patients across all age groups, with a focus on improving nutritional status and supporting recovery.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of inpatient and/or critical care nutrition experience.
CNSC certification required.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for diverse patient populations.
Identify malnutrition, develop individualized nutrition plans, and monitor progress.
Initiate or adjust nutrition-related orders per established protocols.
Manage enteral and parenteral nutrition therapies, adjusting formulas and rates based on patient needs.
Provide patient and family nutrition education as needed.
Participate in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement initiatives.
Attend rounds, meetings, and professional development programs.
