Travel Rate: $2,794/Week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist with IV certification (required) for a travel contract in a respected specialty hospital in New York City. The ideal candidate will have Siemens CT experience, be able to perform X-rays, and work independently during a low-volume overnight shift.

Key Details

  • Orientation: All hours billable

  • Training Schedule (First 2 Weeks): Tue–Fri, 8:30 AM–6:00 PM

  • Regular Schedule (Post Training): Mon–Fri, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM (30-min lunch)

  • Caseload: Up to 20 patients overnight (often fewer)

  • Patient Age Groups: Pediatrics → Geriatrics

  • Specialized Setting: Orthopedic exams, inpatient & outpatient, portable imaging

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans and X-rays (extremities, spine, head, chest, musculoskeletal, etc.)

  • Operate Siemens CT systems; perform multiplanar reconstruction, CTA, brain perfusion studies

  • Administer IV contrast safely (IV certification required)

  • Work across multiple hospital departments and private sector facility

  • Manage portables for ICU, ER, inpatient, and outpatient exams

  • Maintain patient safety, comfort, and dignity in all procedures

  • Ensure accurate documentation within Epic (preferred)

Requirements

Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA)

  • ARRT (CT registered)

  • DOH/NY State License

  • IV Certification (Required)

Experience & Skills:

  • Siemens CT experience preferred

  • Minimum 2 years’ recent CT experience (hospital setting)

  • Must be able to lift/push/pull 150+ lbs (with or without assistive devices)

  • COVID-19 & Flu vaccines required (no exemptions)

Work Setting

  • Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, and Adult ICU

  • Low-volume night shift — work independently

  • Charcoal grey scrubs provided
