Job Title: HR Assistant
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Work Location: Brooklyn, NY
Shift Timing: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Requirement: Prior hospital experience preferred
Job Description:
Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Support onboarding activities such as preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientations, and verifying credentials.
Maintain and update employee records in HR databases and personnel files.
Assist with benefits administration, leave management, and payroll coordination as needed.
Handle confidential employee information in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
Prepare HR reports and assist with compliance audits.
Coordinate employee engagement and training activities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
Prior HR experience in a hospital or healthcare setting strongly preferred.
Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and healthcare compliance standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally.
